Last week in our RE, SPHE and Wellbeing Classes, Brid O’Sullivan Glynn & Kate Darcy (student teacher), focused on World Down Syndrome Day 21/03/21, and the whole area of creating awareness for diversity and inclusion. In doing so we asked the young men of SMC to send a photo to TEAMS of them wearing odd socks on the 21/03/21 World Down Syndrome Day, as their way of creating awareness.

The clip attached is a collaboration of the young men’s contribution, their thoughts and MOST of all Brid’s & Kate’s Media and ICT skills in producer and directorship. The young man featured on the clip is Pádraig O Callaghan who began ‘Monday Motivation Paudcast’ last year, as Pádraig says ‘as a way of keeping busy, staying out of trouble, and spreading some positivity.
