Dear Friends of St. Munchin’s,
On behalf of College, we are thrilled once again to be able promote and organise our annual SMC Golf Classic after what has undoubtedly been a challenging time for everyone over the past 2 years.
We would like to express our thanks to all who have supported our Golf Classic so generously over the last number of years. The real winners of the Golf Classic are the College students. Funds raisedthrough this annual event provides much needed additional funding for the College Sports Fund so that it can continue to promote the participation of the college’s teams in so many different sporting activities including rugby, basketball, hurling, Gaelic football, athletics, and many more.
We invite you to review the sponsorship opportunities and select a desired level.This year the classic will take place at Castletroy Golf Club on Friday 27th of May 2022.
Tee times are: 11:00a.m. – 12:00 noon 1 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. (times before 11am on request)
The format is :- team of 4, with 2 scores to count at each hole.
The cost is €300 per team of four which includes a meal after your round of golf. In addition to the normal team competition, our special trophy in memory of the late Joe Bourke will once again be presented to the best singles card on the day for any past pupils who participate on the day.
In order to broaden the base of our support, perhaps you may be able to contact other past pupils or parents with a view to entering a team together. In the event that you or your company are not able to participate in playing on the day, we would ask that you would please consider sponsoring a Tee or Green for €100.
