The Mid West Careers Fair takes place in UL this Thursday, 6th October. St Munchins College have booked an afternoon slot for all our 6th Years to attend (1.45 – 3.15). There is a €4 charge per student, payable via SMC App.

Classes will finish for 6th Year Students at 12.45 Thursday, allowing them time to make their way to UL.

All the Third level colleges in Ireland will have information stands. 

Post Leaving Cert Colleges will also be in attendance along with Solas ,the state agency responsible for promoting Apprenticeships. There will also be representatives from all the major local employers. 

State agencies agencies will have stands along with the Gardai,Army ,Navy and Ambulance Services.

The Careers Fair promises to have up to 100  information stands with dedicated staff to answer any questions that students may have.

The afternoon offers a wonderful opportunity for students to begin planning their futures
