Congratulations to Pat Aylward who was awarded a PhD from UCC last week. Dr Aylward retired from teaching with us in 1998 and is a regular visitor to the College.

Pats thesis, which ran to over 70,000 words all in Spanish, examines the works of Carlos Fuentes – a Mexican novelist and essayist.
