Dr Fergus Heffernan – Wednesday April 26th at St Munchin’s College
Dr Heffernan is a psychologist specialising in the area of family therapy and critical incident de-briefing. He has lived and worked in some of the most distressed areas of the world helping soldiers exposed to volatile battleground situations and delivering resilience programmes to people affected by natural disasters. (Ideal family therapy preparation you might say)!
Dr Heffernan employs a wonderfully honest, heartfelt, practical and humorous approach to the subject of mental health and family issues both from a professional and personal level having raised two very anxious teenagers himself. He provides listeners with plenty of material for on-going reflection.
Research shows that 1 in 5 teenagers are presenting with anxiety issues. Why? How can we help them? This presentation is particularly suited to parents and people who play a key role in supporting the emotional wellbeing of teenagers and young children.
This event is likely to attract a lot of interest. You can book your FREE ticket by clicking here.
